For the past few weeks I have been having persistent headaches that last for about an hour, go away, and return.  For the life of me I couldn't figure out why I was getting these headaches.  I don't eat spicy foods so I ruled that out, I haven't had a migraine in years, so I ruled that out, and nothing in my daily lifestyle has changed.

One thing was consistent.

I work crazy hours and instead of cooking dinner when I get off of work, I have found myself conveniently running to the sandwich place or Greek restaurant up the street.  Every time I eat from the restaurants I get a splitting headache... I didn't put two and two together until now.

I finally had an Ah ha moment! I have been a victim of too much MSG.  Once I realized this I started paying more attention to the restaurant signs... I was right! I didn't see any sign saying that MSG wasn't used and generally restaurants display a sign to ease the minds of customers.  MSG is so addictive, because the "food enhancer" is filled with delicious flavors that makes the brain believe it needs more.

I haven't done extensive research on MSG, but I will.  My symptoms have been: severe headaches, nausea, dizziness, etc.  so many more, but too many to list.  Has anyone else experienced this???? I want to hear from you.

I just found out that Whitney's album is being released early...so happy! Instead of September 1st, it will be out on August 31st.  Albums are usually released on Tuesday.  Has a celebrity ever had an album come out on a Monday... just wondering.  Anyway, I'm excited and I can't wait to blog about the album.

I'm so happy that one of my favorite singers will be returning on September 1st with a new album.  Whitney Houston has always been one of my favorite singers and I will definitely purchase her album.  When I was 9 years old I sung "The Greatest Love of All" at a school talent show.  I wasn't half as talented in the singing department (haha), but I thought that I was a diva in training.

I can't wait until her album drops.  I think I should pre-order it.... I'm paranoid that it will sale out.  O, I'll be pissed if it sales out.  Are you as excited??? Will you purchase her album???

What is your favorite old school Whitney track??? Mine would have to be "Saving all my Love" and "Same Script, Different Cast."

Her new song, "I look to you" is marv.  Listen below.

I have been reading stories all day saying that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush broke up... Is this true??? I hope that it isn't.  I like them as a couple! Also, they both just returned from philanthropy work in Africa--seems like that would bring a couple closer.  If they did break up, what could have broken them up??? I'm always skeptic when it comes to certain gossip sites, but when I saw it confirmed on E news (the station she works for) I knew that it had to be true.

I am a big tech junkie.  Anytime there's a new gadget I become obsessed and talk about it all day long (even if I don't purchase). haha.  I first saw the new Blackberry Tour on Verizon's website and started obsessing.  I have Sprint, so I knew that I was out of the loop, but tonight I looked at Sprint's website and saw The Tour.  I want this phone! I'm able to renew, but I seriously just bought the Blackberry Curve in February.  What's a girl to do??? The picture is a little blurred, but you get the point.  I want it! Is there a gadget that you must have???

Last night I went to go see the movie The Orphan.  I expected to be scared out of my mind but I wasn't.  That's ok, I still thought that it was well written.  The movie was definitely a good suspense and I would recommend it.  While watching, I couldn't help but think about how it reminded me of The Good Son and The Bad Seed combined.  Isabelle Fuhrman is the little girl who played the role of Esther "the orphan."  She's only 12 years old! I'm still in shock at how well she played the role.  Two thumbs up to her.  I won't tell the ending of the movie, but it was definitely crazy.  Have you seen the movie??? What's your favorite suspense film?

Bernice Rhodenbarr who is played by Whoppi Goldberg is a retired "cat burglar" who runs a used bookstore. She is lured out of retirement when a retired cop (who busted her before) demands money to keep quiet about some evidence he withheld in one of her prior jobs. She agrees to a burglary job for a lady dentist, but theft leads to murder, and it's up to Bernice to try to prove her innocence
I could probably watch this movie 100x's and never get tired of it.  Whoppi Goldberg was great in this movie.  It's definitely one of my favorite movies.  My favorite part is in the beginning when she breaks into someone's home and gets caught--I swear, I laughed until I could laugh no more.  Classic! What's your favorite Whoppi Goldberg movie???

There have been several celebrities shaving their heads recently, and personally I don't like it! The trend started with Cassie shaving the sides of her head and then others followed.  However, I think that there's a celebrity who qualifies as an extreme offender of "the baldy locks" and that's Solange Knowles.  What was she thinking? I believe that in order to go bald, you must have a certain shaped head and your ears have to be a certain size.  Ok, maybe it isn't that bad and her outfit in the picture below is throwing me off more.  Would you shave your head bald???? What are your thoughts on her new do???
