I seriously can't believe that tomorrow is March 1st.  That's craziness! Only 24 days until my birthday.  Ok, ok... enough bragging and back to my weekend movie pick.  My pick this week is Sex and The City: The Movie.  I absolutely LOVE this movie. Have a couple of cocktails with your friends, rent this movie, and laugh out loud.

The movie is about a New York writer, Carrie Bradshaw who is finally getting married to Mr. Big. But her three best girlfriends must console her after one of them inadvertently leads Mr. Big to jilt her... As if you didn't know, but for those who haven't seen it, run out and rent.  Too good to miss!

I can't even believe what I'm seeing.  TMZ released pictures of Rihanna's injuries and it isn't good.  Chris Brown definitely needs help.  What was he thinking??? Personally, I'm wonder if the police tested his blood alcohol level and administered a drug test.  To be the fly in that car the night of the incident.  Violence is never the answer.  I know that Brown said in his statement that he is seeking the help of his pastor and mother... and while I am all for support of the Church and family, I think that he needs counseling from a professional.  They're sooooo young.  I hope he seeks help soon, and I hope and pray that Rihanna presses charges.  BTW, why hasn't he been charged with physical abuse??? I guess well find out soon as the story develops.

Since Barack Obama became president, there have been a few out of pocket racist characters that need to stop the madness.  Customers went to their usual favorite bakery in New York to order, but instead of the usual menu they received something additional... Drunken nigger heads.  Yep, you heard right.  Blatant racism.  Read below what owner Ted Kefalinos asked his customers.  After you read, click on the link below.

Ted Kefalinos, proprietor of Lafayette French Pastry, asked her, "Would you like some drunken nigger heads to go with your coffee? They're in honor of our new president. He's following in the same path of Abraham Lincoln; he will get his."

Has anyone not learned from the tragic death of Kanye West's mother??? Apparently not, because Tameka Foster, 37 Usher's Cougar  wife decided to go to Brazil and have cosmetic procedures done.  What the hell did she have done, and why did she go all the way to Brazil??? That's my question.  Foster just had a baby, shouldn't she chill out??? According to Access Hollywood, Usher cancelled his performance at Clive Davis' pre Grammy party and a neurosurgeon is on his way to Brazil to investigate.  Josh Groban filled in for Usher.

Hasn't Tameka ever heard of the saying, "black don't crack?" because, it really doesn't.  And, who in Hollywood looks good after having plastic surgery??? NO ONE!!!! It's not worth it--just age gracefully, and workout.

According to People.com, Chris Brown is under investigation by the LAPD for allegations of domestic violence felony battery.  The identity of the victim will not be released," said Officer April Harding. "Any victim who's involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality."   Officer Harding added: "If police locate Brown, yes, he's subject to arrest."

 Where are you hiding Chris???

Both Chris and his girlfriend Rihanna will not be attending tonights Grammy Awards.  Could it have been Rihanna that he was beating on??? That's the speculation.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, the R&B singer and a woman were in a vehicle in L.A. when they became involved in an argument, according to a police statement. After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The LAPD received a 911 call reporting the disturbance.

Chris Allegedly fled the scene and police are currently looking for him.  Say it ain't so!!! I hope that is issue is resolved.

Last night, I went to the movies to go see Taken. Soooooo Gooood!!!!! The movie is about an ex-CIA (Liam Neeson) who sets off to Paris, France to find his 17 year old daughter (Maggie Grace)and her friend who are kidnapped by an Albanian Mafia for sex-trafficking.  Liam Neeson, who I believe delivers a great performance in every film was absolutely great in this movie.  This was such a great film that I could watch it a million more times. Far better than 007.

Someone is cooking fish at 12:00 pm. Actually, I shouldn't say someone, because the guilty person is my neighbor.  Don't get me wrong I love fish, but this is some stank ass fish.  I mean it puts the funk in nasty.  I live on the first floor in an apartment, and I swear it's lingering throughout the whole building.  I'm running around spraying Febreze like I'm crazy.  LOL.  I just might scream out my door, "There's a dead fish." Here's a lesson, if it smells fishy then you probably shouldn't cook it.  Good fish is not supposed to be mad funky and it shouldn't give me a headache.

What's the worst smell that you've ever smelled??? And please, keep it PG-13. lol

Yesterday, I went to Barnes & Noble on my weekly book hunt and to do research for my poetry book.  BTW, my poetry book is still a work in progress, and I hope to be able to tell you all more next month.  As I was saying, I went to B&N and I think that I've found the perfect book.  It's cleverly titled Sushi for beginners and it's written by Marian Keyes.  Ok, it's not what you think.  Yes, I'm addicted to Sushi, but the book is about a "fabulous" magazine editor and her friends who are all searching for love, success, and happiness.  Well, it definitely caught my attention.  I'll let you know how it is once I finish.

Have you read this book before, what did you think???
And, do you have any recommendations for a good book???

Why o Why, Is it that every year I get stressed out? Since the age of 8, I have been experiencing this sadness during the month of February.  O, I know, because someone decided to invent Valentine's Day.  I remember being in 3rd grade and wanting so desperately for my crush Brandon to notice me and just give me a darn card, but he never did.  To this day, I sit and wonder if and who will surprise me with chocolates, a card, or flowers.  This year, there is no valentine.  I shouldn't really care, but I'm reminded everyday about this silly holiday.  I blame the person that started it, because obviously he wanted to torture me. Naw, just kidding, but it would be nice to have a Valentine.  O well, I guess there's always next year.

Do you have a valentine???? What are your plans?

I absolutely LOVE technology! My latest obsession is the new Palm Pre by Sprint.  I desperately want this phone, but unfortunately it's not out yet.  This phone alleges to offer most of everything previous contenders offer.  The phone is said to be for those who love multitasking...have "split personalities."  LOL.  Basically, the perfect phone for me.  How much longer until this phone comes out?

My friend and I had this discussion the other day about people and bathing.  My friend told me that not all people use a cloth, sponge, or loofah.  He was telling me a crazy story about an ex of his who would only use her hand when bathing.  So, it made me wonder, how many people out there only use their hands to wash?  I know, such a crazy topic, but i'm curious to read your comments.  Take my poll on the home page.
